As a premium supplier and exporter based in Mumbai, Doshi Impex India offers high-grade 316 Stainless Steel Sheets designed specifically for environments that demand superior corrosion resistance and lasting durability. Commonly referred to as "Marine Grade" steel, our SS 316 sheets are the ideal choice for industries where standard 304 grade might fail due to intense chemical exposure or saltwater contact. These austenitic chromium-nickel steels contain a strategic addition of molybdenum, which significantly enhances the material's resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in chloride-rich environments. Whether your project requires a mirror finish for architectural brilliance or a standard 2B finish for industrial utility, we provide customized solutions tailored to your exact specifications. Our sheets are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 100 mm, with customizable widths and lengths up to 6000 mm, all strictly adhering to ASTM A240 and ASME SA240 standards.

The exceptional performance of our SS 316 products is a direct result of a precise chemical makeup. The inclusion of 2.0% to 3.0% Molybdenum serves as the key differentiator, providing a robust shield against acids and saline that other grades lack. The composition is balanced with 16.0%–18.0% Chromium and 10.0%–14.0% Nickel, maintaining a low carbon content (max 0.08% for 316 and 0.03% for 316L) to ensure structural integrity and weldability. This chemical stability makes the sheets non-reactive and rugged, allowing them to excel in critical applications such as marine hardware, boat fittings, and offshore equipment. They are equally indispensable in chemical processing for storage tanks and heat exchangers, as well as in the food and beverage industry for high-sanitation brewery tanks and commercial kitchen surfaces.

Doshi Impex India serves as a trusted partner to a diverse range of global sectors, ensuring a high-quality material supply for the

Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and Water Treatment industries. Our 316 sheets are widely utilized in desalination plants, sterile manufacturing environments, and surgical instrument production. In the realms of Construction and Architecture, our products define luxury interiors and durable facades in coastal cities, while the Automotive and Textile sectors rely on us for high-performance exhaust systems and specialized dyeing equipment.

Choosing Doshi Impex India means opting for uncompromising quality assurance and versatile customization. We offer precision cutting, slitting, and a variety of surface polishing options, including Hairline, Matte, and Mirror finishes. With a proven track record of reliable export and timely delivery across both Indian and international markets, we provide direct-to-consumer wholesale rates that ensure competitive pricing for all bulk orders. At Doshi Impex India, we are committed to delivering the strength and reliability your industrial projects deserve.

Stainless steel 304 matte finish sheet, also known as No. 4 finish or hairline finish, is a type of stainless steel sheet with a dull, brushed appearance. This finish is achieved by applying a series of abrasive belts to the surface of the stainless steel sheet, creating a uniform, non-reflective finish. This type of finish is popular for its decorative appeal and is often used in architectural and interior design applications.

Features:

Aesthetic appeal: Stainless steel matte finish sheet has a decorative appeal and is often used in interior design and architectural applications.

Non-reflective surface: The matte finish provides a non-reflective surface, which can help reduce glare in bright environments.

Scratch resistance: The matte finish is more resistant to scratches and abrasions than a polished finish.

Easy to clean: The non-reflective surface of the matte finish is easy to clean and maintain.

Usage and Application:

Stainless steel matte finish sheet is widely used in various industries, including:

Architectural applications: It is used for decorative purposes in building facades, elevators, and interior design applications.

Kitchen equipment: It is used for the manufacture of kitchen equipment, including countertops, sinks, and cabinets.

Medical equipment: It is used in the manufacture of medical equipment due to its corrosion resistance and hygienic properties.

Automotive industry: It is used in the automotive industry for decorative trim and interior components.

Handling:
When handling stainless steel matte finish sheet, it's important to wear gloves and protective clothing to prevent injury. The sheet should be handled with care to avoid scratching or damaging the surface.

Doshi Impex India - 441 Sheet - Stainless Steel 441 - SS 441 sheet - Stainless steel 304 sheet  - Doshi Impex Stainless Steel sheet 441 - AISI 441 -  Stainless steel grade 441 is a ferritic stainless-steel containing niobium that provides the steel good oxidation and corrosion resistance. This steel provides good high-temperature strength in exhaust gas environments, and has good for deep drawing, good ductility, good weldability, and good brightness. It polishes well. The 441-flat rolled stainless steel possesses magnetic quality in all conditions. This grade may be used in the annealed, cold formed or as-welded condition in applications where other stainless steels such as Type 304/304L and Type 430 are used. Type 441 has good weldability due to titanium and niobium stabilization and has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Type 441 outperforms Type 409 in both oxidation and corrosion resistance and typical applications include automotive manifolds and exhaust system components. The high temperature strength of Type 441 exceeds that of both Types 439 and 409 stainless steels.

Processing / Welding
Standard welding processes for this steel grade are:
TIG-Welding
 MAG-Welding Solid Wire
Arc Welding (E)

Applications
Grade 441 stainless steel is applied in catering equipment and automotive-exhaust system components.
Indoor cladding
Restaurant equipment and appliances
Tubes
Heat exchangers

Stainless steel is the most common steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%) metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel. It is less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel and is essentially non-magnetic. It has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel and is widely used because of the ease in which it is formed into various shapes. 304 stainless steel has excellent resistance to a wide range of atmospheric environments and many corrosive media. It is subject to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments and to stress corrosion cracking above about 60 °C. It is considered resistant to pitting corrosion in water with up to about 400 mg/L chlorides at ambient temperatures, reducing to about 150 mg/L at 60 °C.
304 stainless steel is also very sensitive at room temperature to the thiosulfate anions released by the oxidation of pyrite (as encountered in acid mine drainage) and can undergo severe pitting corrosion problems when in close contact with pyrite- or sulfide-rich clay materials exposed to oxidation.
304 stainless steel is used for a variety of household and industrial applications such as food handling and processing equipment, screws, machinery parts, and car headers. 304 stainless steel is also used in the architectural field for exterior accents such as water and fire features. It is also a common coil material for vaporizers.

The Japanese equivalent grade of this material is SUS304. It is also specified in European norm 1.4301.
